Corned Beef
Basic Reuben Sandwich
Marinate well-drained sauerkraut with a little mayonnaise and caraway seed for half an hour. Place 3 to 4 slices of cooked Freirich Corned Beef, sliced thin across the grain, on a rye bread slice, buttered on both sides. Top with sauerkraut mixture, then place a slice of Swiss Cheese on top. Top with another bread slice, buttered on both sides. Preheated griddle to 350ºF. Grill sandwich, turning when lightly browned and cheese begins to melt. Serve with 1000 Island Dressing in a souffle cup on the side.
